    He believed that Space Tourism will be one of the tendencies and life beyond earth of every individual will become possible in the future, by mentioning the 3 Space Tourism projects of VirginGalactic, BlueOrigin and SpaceX respectively. Enjoy.

    “Attention! We are now on a Space CubeSat mission!”

     

    A conceptual course of building a CubeSat organised by OASA for around 20-30 students, was successfully held in November, at Caritas St. Joseph Secondary School. Our new Space Cadets, which are primary 5 to secondary F.1 students, have found joy in learning about design thinking and the systematic CubeSat prototype-building and aroused their interest in STEM education and Space.

OASA will help you understand, by showing us how cube satellites (CubeSats) work and how to go about designing and building them. They will talk about the economic aspects of space and how Hong Kong can benefit from opportunities in the growing space economy. Moderated by Kimberly Lam, Prof. Quentin Parker an Astrophysicists and Mr. Hubie Lem, OASA Vice Chairman, discussed how indeed one can build one's own satellite today.
