    OASA為大家,特別是對太空經濟有興趣的朋友,介紹一些常用的技術用語。要理解太空經濟,我們需要學習新詞彙,好讓我們與太空探索領域中的人合作。

    Anthropocene 人類世

    屬地質概念,以人類活動對地球的影響而開始的一個新地質時代,目前尚待被正式確認。

    Astropreneurs 太空創業家

    為創業家在太空經濟下發展的業務及商業模式下的創業新定義。太空創業家更多是指創業的思維及心態,並能在新機遇下建立新業務,搭通跨界別的業務合作。更多參考:https://astropreneurs.eu/

    Autopoiesis 自生系統

    意指能夠通過「自我製造」,系統創造部件並達到自我生成及維持的狀態。這是系統論中的重要概念。自我生成是在原有的系統結構中不斷繁衍分化,使主體越來越複雜,也越來越能處理週遭環境的變化。

    Attractors 吸子

    路徑的終點並維持穩態發展的趨勢 (如谷底或碗狀底部)。

    ConOps (Concept of Operations)

    A ConOps is a high-level view of the system from the user’s perspective that describes key concepts, capabilities, context, deliverables, and characteristics for the operation of the system. Its purpose is to communicate the vision and purpose of the system to help guide the acquisition and development effort

    CubeSats 立方衛星

    屬於一種微型衛星,每個單元大小通常為10cm x10cm x10cm。立方衛星的配置便以此單元或其倍數而組成。自從1999年在矽谷發明以來,立方體衛星已被用於教育和研究上。

    Emergence 湧現

    按混沌理論,物質互動後所產生的各種新奇且清晰的變化。

    Harvard Galileo Project 哈佛伽利略項目

    由哈佛大學天文系主任Avi Loeb教授領導的新天文研究項目。目標是開發一個由人工智能驅動的全球望遠鏡網絡,可以持續掃描天空,捕捉任何異常情況,以尋找外星科技文明。OASA成員 Chris Altman也是項目的顧問之一。

    Mindfulness in Space 正念太空

    嘗試自在而不多加論斷。處於太空一角,使人察覺到宇宙的浩瀚並連繫自我意識。如果沒有學會透過無垠太空磨練自我心智,任何太空人都可能失去理智。

    SpaceShip Earth 地球號

    地球就是我們的太空船,我們必須依靠太空船穿越宇宙。在不得不棄船前,我們須好好保養「地球號」。

    Orbital spaceflight 軌道飛行

    處於軌道上的太空船。

    Suborbital spaceflight 次軌道飛行

    在地球上空100公里進行飛行。

    Systems Leadership 系統領導能力

    為了徹底改造複雜的系統,領導人選是十分重要。系統領導人能夠同理他人帶領集體行動。他們善於協作,並且能駕馭複雜和混亂的局面。

    新太空經濟中的未來領袖​

    These days many problems can be solved, if only both sides have systems leaders who are mindful of their mutual problems. In New Space where borders are no longer relevant, we need young global leaders who are global systems leaders. Referencing Leadership Competencies that Sir David believed should exemplify young global systems leaders of the future, Professors Charles Foley and Gregg Li created a framework for future problem solvers. Others continued to refine this working document. Here's the latest draft.

    What does the Academy collect and how do we use the data collected?
    
    If personal data is collected in the process of making enquiries or submitting applications or requests to participate in our activities, participants will be informed via the respective Personal Information Collection Statements of such purposes and uses, including the extent of their transfer and disclosure; and the right of access to and correction of the collected personal data.
    
     
    
    Will the Academy disclose or transfer the data it collects to outside parties?
    
    The Academy will NOT disclose or transfer personal data collected to outside parties unless such disclosure or transfer is authorised, required or permitted by, or in compliance with, the Ordinance.     We are required by the Ordinance to take all reasonably practicable steps to safeguard the security of personal data held by us. The Academy will strive to protect any personal data held by us against unauthorized access or processing.
    
     
    
    Notwithstanding our obligation to safeguard the security of personal data, we are unable to guarantee complete security of electronic communications through the internet given the open nature of the internet. You will have to assess and accept the relevant risks before sending personal data to us via email or any form of electronic communications.

    We are required by the Ordinance to take all reasonable practicable steps to ensure that personal data held by us (i) is accurate having regard to the purposes for which the data is to be used; and (ii) is not kept longer than is necessary for the fulfilment of the
    
    purpose for which the data is to be used unless otherwise permitted by the Ordinance or required by any applicable legal or regulatory requirements. Please note that personal data collected from a Participant who has opted to receive direct marketing materials will be retained for that purpose until he or she notifies us otherwise.

    Subject to the applicable requirements under the Ordinance, we may from time to time send direct marketing materials promoting Activities, publications, services, products or facilities to you using your personal data.
